TEMAIKEN - Para el Reto # 25 de CSI

El Reto # 25 de CSI proponía estas consignas y a su vez utilizar estos colores. Pero esta vez, como tarea adicional, había que elegir una página de alguna de las diseñadoras y reproducirla. Algo parecido a lo que hacemos en el Reto Porteño pero con los colores y elementos indicados. Así que comencé por diseñar la que también publicaré luego en el Reto Porteño.

 Yo la transformé en esto, para aprovechar una serie de fotos que tenía de Franchu en Temaiken:

And this is what I made of it to take advantage of a number of photographs of my grandson's visit to the Temaiken zoo:

 Al levantar la primera foto, se despliega un librito donde agregué varias fotos y donde cuento la historia de su visita y también que cuando le pregunté qué fue lo que más le había gustado me dijo "Los binoculares". ¡Pensar que su mamá ilusionada, la llevó a ver los animales!!! También agregué la cara del monstruo a la foto, porque me dijo que los binoculares se parecían al monstruo del cuento de los tres cabritos que suelo narrarle (y tenía razón!) 

As you lift the first photograph, a small booklet is revealed in which I added a number of photos of the outing plus a small story of it as well. When I asked him what he had liked most, expecting he would mention the animals, he said "the binoculars"!!! To think his mum thought he would be excited with the animals!!! I also added the monster face because as we looked through the photographs he told me the binoculars looked like the ugly ogre in The Three Billly Goats Gruff.Actually he was quite right!

Transformé la última foto, en un bolsillo adhiriéndola a la página con costuras y de adentro se saca una tarjeta donde voy a pegar las entradas que su mamá tiene guardadas.

I turned the last photograph into a pocket by sewing it onto the page.  I slipped a card into it on which I will stick the entrances to the zoo which my daughter says she kept for me. Yup!! Got all the family trained to keep things for my scrapbooking!

 Este es un detalle del título. Las letras están pegadas sobre cartón para que proyecten sombra ( una de las consignas)

This is a detail of the title. I stuck the letters on cardboard so they would create a shadow on the page:

 También agregué una ramita porque se pedía algo de madera.

I also added a twig for the "wood elements"

 Para reemplazar la brújula del trabajo original, utilicé una imágen de una suricata sacado de un anotador de Temaiken que además utilicé como botón para poder cerrar el librito Lo adherí a la página con un ojalillo negro a través de la nariz, para disimularlo.

To replace the compass Nancy used on her layout, I made a cardboard "button" which I decorated with an animal from a note pad my daughter brought me from the zoo. I attached it to the page with a black eyelet through the nose. The button is what I used to be able to close the booklet
