This is a two page LO I put togeteher combining two challenges: my own "Reto Porteño" and Nadia Canizzo's Once upon a Sketch. My Reto porteño is generally about scraplifting a LO designed by a foreign artist. Because in Argentina we have no access to the wonderful array of supplies available abroad, the purpose of my challenge is to get the girls to be creative and see how with a little bit of imagination, the help of their computers and plenty of manual work , wonderful results can nevertheless be achieved. It's just a question of observing and trying to figure out how industrially made embellishmenta can be made by hand!! Scraplifting is also a great way to become acquainted with materials and discover the endless possibilities of our art supplies as well as putting new techniques into practise.
I had loved the page designed by Zwyck but I had too many photos and the sketch didn't have enough room for them. So I decided to put togeteher a second page and use Nadia's sketch so as to be able to fit in all my photos.
Esta es la página que fue nuestra inspiración para el Reto:
This is Zwyck's layout on which we were inspired for my Reto Porteño:

And this is what I designed for the Reto Porteño:

And this for Once upon a Sketch:

In the LO for the Reto Porteño, I downloaded an image of the train station where we took the train (from Google), I traced it and then transferred it onto my page

Utilicé esto como título y agregué : "un día compartido con vos"
Como tenía mucho más para escribir, la foto grande se abre como un libro y permite var más fotos y el texto
Nadia's challenge required a two line phrase starting with "A Perfect Day" so I used that as a title and added "is a day shared with you"
Because I had a lot of journalling to do, the bigger photo opens up like a book to reveal more photographs and all the hidden journalling

El pequeño cartelito de cartón que dice "Un día" actúa a su vez de cierre sostenido por un elástico negro.
The small cardbord tab with the words "Un día" (A day) acts as the closure for the booklet and is held in place by a piece of black elastic
